2025–2026 Season Recap
This year, the debate team consist of 82 members. We will have attended 45 tournaments after our season wraps up in June!
Key Tournaments & Qualifiers
TFA State
TFA State is considered the largest and most competitive state championship debate tournament in the country, with over 1,500 students from 180 Texas schools participating.
Qualifiers: 23 students across 7 events.
Tournament of Champions
Established in 1972, the TOC is recognized as the most prestigious competition in the speech and debate community, with competitors from all over the United States, Taiwan, Canada and the Dominican Republic.
Qualifiers: 5 students across 2 events.
National Speech & Debate Tournament
The National Speech & Debate Tournament is the world's largest academic competition. Over 7,000 students over over 1,500 schools participate.
Qualifiers: 8 students across 5 events.
